Guiding wellness with expertise and care with a dedication to health and a commitment to excellence.
With a profound commitment to advancing the field of oncology nursing and virtual health services, I have been a leader and innovator within the healthcare sector. Most recently serving as the Director of Nursing and Virtual Health Services at Oncology Care Partners, I was instrumental in shaping patient care through the strategic integration of virtual health services since January 2021.
Through my leadership, I have not only improved patient outcomes but also fostered a culture of accountability and innovation within the organizations I have served.
Recognized for my contributions to the field, I have been honored as a listee by Marquis Who's Who, Nurse of the Year by the AJC, and have received the prestigious Daisy Award for excellence in nursing. My scholarly work includes publications and presentations, most recently to the ATA conference, that have significantly contributed to the body of knowledge in chronic care management and oncology care.
I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. The facility made a decision to start performing nuclear stress tests within the cancer treatment center. Although Mrs. Pate did not have much experience with this procedure, you could not have picked a better individual to spearhead this project. Amanda was not only interested in learning her role in the nuclear stress tests, but also the role of the nuclear medicine technologists. She would come over to our department and ask how the camera worked, how the radiotracer worked, and what the images looked like and why they looked the way they did and what it represented. She is a hard worker and a fast learner. She was also a recipient of the Daisy Award while I was her co-worker and I could not imagine anyone more deserving. I recommend Amanda for any role as a RN/Nurse Manager for any hospital in any capacity.
She is an oncology nurse w a wealth of knowledge and skill in virtual clinical operations and program management. I couldn’t speak more highly of Amanda given her front-line experience in creating, building, and clinical operations of oncology-based RPM, triage, and chronic disease management programs. Her expertise in clinical oncology and symptom management is invaluable. Amanda has the highest work ethic and can work hard to advance a program, leading with grace, empathy, and pragmatism, to lead a program into success. She is driven and takes ownership has a bias for action and much more!
“If you are looking for a compassionate, caring person, this is the person I highly recommend. Their friendliness and professionalism are what I love about them."
Amanda was among the top tier of all the students with whom I had the pleasure of teaching at WGTC. Her work ethic is exceptional. But, as important as that is, her personal demeanor, respect for others, participation, and keen sense of humor, place her among, not only the best of students, but as a person I now consider a friend. Those who will come in contact with Amanda will be rewarded by having an outstanding nurse at their side, who is intelligent, who genuinely cares about them, and will greet them with a wonderful smile and terrific sense of humor!
Amanda has a deep understanding of clinical best practices in the Oncology space. Her ability to think through critical as well as complex cases and align digital health strategies to support operations is impressive. Her compassion, since of urgency, and knowledge allows her to pour into the patience via the organizations platforms. She's a delight to work with.

Her guidance has personally impacted my role as an advanced practice provider to become more organized and creative. Amanda is a visionary leader whose dedication to advancing patient care is unmatched. One of her most noteworthy achievements was founding a highly successful patient navigation program focused on patient-centered care. This initiative streamlined the care journey for patients, ensuring that each, individual received personalized attention and support from admissions to discharge. The program not only improved patient outcomes but also strengthened trust between the organization and the community it served.
As a nurse with three years of clinical experience, I directly benefited from her guidance. Amanda fostered an environment of collaboration, innovation, and growth, encouraging team members to think critically and contribute to organizational success.
She excelled in leading with both compassion and decisiveness, particularly during challenging time. For instance, Amanda demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills when addressing staffing shortages, quickly mobilizing resources and inspiring the team to deliver with high-quality care despite difficult circumstances.
